An enjoyable trail through Heathcote-Graytown National Park in central Victoria, located close to the town of Heathcote. This looped route begins and ends from the trailhead at the end of Powder Magazine Track.
The trail features a gradual climb up to the Devils Cave, which is situated amongst a small rocky outcrop on top of a gorge. From here you'll head across the top of the Hill to the lookout point and back down to the carpark.

This is a fantastic trail in Heathcote-Graytown National Park. The route visits Gunpowder Magazine, Devils Cave and Viewing Point Rock. The park is also filled with wildlife and this track is a great way to spot wallabies and kangaroos.

The trail starts from Heathcote - Nagambie Road following a dirt road at first then joining a winding 4WD track. The final ascent to the lookout is steep and is a narrow goat track. The path then opens up to plateau at Melville's Lookout. Here there is of pleasant picnic tables & fireplaces.

This is a lovely trail through the Heathcote Graytown National Park offering great views from the top of Mount Ida. The best time to give this one a go is during Spring, when it comes alive with colourful wildflowers and butterflies.
Half the trail is along an easy to follow fire trail with a bit of loose gravel to navigate. The other half of the trail can be quite ambiguous and it will help to download the map before heading out.

A terrific trail to Melville's Lookout and the summit of Mount Black in Heathcote-Graytown National Park.
Visitors can find parking off of Mount Black Quarry Road near where the route begins. The path then follows Melville's Lookout Track to the spectacular viewing point.
After the lookout, the route follows the Lookout Track back to Mount Black Quarry Road and heads up to Mount Black. At the summit, you'll again be rewarded with beautiful views over the surrounding bushland.
