Strzelecki National Park is located on Flinders Island in Tasmania. The park is named after Paul Edmund Strzelecki, a Polish geologist and explorer who became famous for his work in Australia. A steep walk to the highest peak on Flinders Island (756m) that rewards you with 360-degree views. The views are often shrouded by cloud, so best to try and time this one on a clear day for the best views at the top, even though there are picturesque views for the duration of the trail. There are also some small waterfalls to spot within the first kilometres of the trail.

This walk follows the coastal track on the towering granite mountains above the beach out to Trousers Point where you'll pass caves and rock formations and eventually catch beautiful views over the Bass Strait islands.
