A easy and family friendly walk to the spectacular Nelson Falls just off the Lyell Highway, that's can be a great short trip on your way to Queenstown or out.

Situated in the heart of the Denison Ranges, Lake Rhona has spectacular coloured quartzite sands and is surrounded by dominate ridges making it a unique lake for the Wild Rivers and greater Southwest Wilderness. The track follows flat grass marshland for a majority of the way before a short hard climb of 400m to the final section below the lake. This is your typical Tasmanian bush bashing walk, be prepared for exposed track, harsh elements, and little markings along the way.
