Historical loop near Arnsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia. The themed trail comprises 41 historically interesting stations and documents the historical development of the Alt-Arnsberg district. It is advisable to obtain the brochure "Erlebnis-Wanderführer" in advance (available from the Arnsberg Tourist Office, Arnsberg bookshops and the Sauerland Museum). The loop leads through parts of what is now the Obereimer nature reserve on the territory of the former electorate of Thiergarten Arnsberg....

This path starts in the neighborhood of Moosfelde in Neheim. It crosses the forest in an easterly direction until it reaches the area where the Hevesee and the Möhnetalsperre meet. The shore can be explored further if desired, but this trail only goes to a point on the coast and then back.
