This relaxed circular hiking trail leads through the Südheide Nature Park. On the way, ten small stations provide information about the history of this ancient cultural landscape as well as the flora and fauna. The circular route leads over narrow sandy paths through extensive heathland and through beautiful forest areas.

This route is stage 13 of the Heidschnuckenweg, a long-distance trail through Lower Saxony, starting at Dehningshof and ending in the royal city of Celle.
