Scenic hike in Franconian Switzerland, Bavaria. This hiking trail leads through the “Schwarzer Brand” rock area. The route leads steeply uphill in parts. The climbs are, of course, rewarded with beautiful viewpoints. From the starting point (parking spaces and bus stop available), it goes uphill past the Francke fireplace and the Azelstein. Popular circular trail in the Franconian Switzerland Nature Park. This strenuous, sometimes very steep path leads to over 30 natural caves (caves and stalactite caves). The rocks are limestone deposits from the ancient Jurassic Sea, similar to coral reefs. The path also leads past the "Petrus" rock tower. A visit to "heaven" is worthwhile here. The Hirschbach Tourist Association, 1975 of the "MSC Hirschbach," laid out the hiking trail and marked it throughout with the number 3 on a green...

With No. 1 past the tower - continue with yellow line. Short unmarked route. Then with Grünkreuz via Grünreuth to Hartenstein. Magnificent (rewarding!) view from Hirtenberg. With a red dot to Großmeinfeld. Through the Reichental (No. 1) comfortably to Hirschbach. Alternating markings. Refreshment possibility: -Grünreuth (closed on Mondays), -hard stone, -Hirschbach (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)

Heinz Walter volunteered for the mountain rescue service for 50 years. The path dedicated to him begins at the Unterhirschbach hiking car park. The pure walking time is about 3.5 hours.

With a green line through the Reichental, past the snake spruce u. the wind hole. Later with number 3 to Artelshofen. Back with the green cross over Vorra to Fischbrunn. With yellow line back. Abbreviations: from Vorra with the yellow cross back to Hirschbach (13.4 km). Worthwhile detour: just before Artélshofen above the Falkenberg hut on a ridge to the Artelshofer Platte with a bench. Popular loop trail in the Franconian Switzerland-Frankenjura Nature Park, Bavaria. The 10 km hike takes you through wide open spaces and small wooded areas between Eschenfelden and Nansreuth. Through the Schöpfental via Gerhardsberg to Kirchenreinbach. Via Munich on a beautiful ridge back to Hirschbach - changing markings.
