Best partially-paved trails in Grassau

The path starts at the Museum Salz und Moor between Rottau and Grassau and leads once around the Kendlmühlfilzen. You usually walk on the old embankment of the peat railway. The hike is particularly recommended in spring, when the marsh marigolds are in bloom and there is still snow on the surrounding mountains.

This is the southern section of the Athental bike path. The varied route leads away from busy roads, without major climbs through the valley of the Tyrolean Ache. Numerous nature reserves are on the way, as well as refreshments for the physical well-being.
