This route features many cultural and culinary specialities of the relaxing Baltic seaside resort of Zingst.
The circular tour of the peninsula begins at the Freesenbruch campsite on the western edge of the town. The first 2.5 kilometres through the Baltic seaside resort of Zingst lead along a paved dyke path along the Freesenbruch to the refuge on the Zingster Strom.
Zingst harbour is a further 1.5 km away. Here you can take a boat trip or make a short stop for an ice cream.
The dyke path then continues to the Kirr landing stage near Müggenburg. This is where the national park begins.
The route leads along the concrete track cycle path below the new Bodden dyke to Sundische Wiese. Here there is an exhibition about the "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" National Park with lots of exciting information about the region. From there, you can return directly to Zingst or continue on to Pramort.
The tour leads to Pramort and the Hohe Düne dune via a pleasant tarmac road (car-free). Shelters and observation towers reveal marvellous and breathtaking views of the island world, even as far as Hiddensee.
