From the village of Zingst, the path leads over the dyke north of the Osterwald forest into the national park. The Baltic Sea peeks through the coastal dune forest from time to time. A short detour is possible at the Wieker Weg beach crossing. The small national park exhibition in the Sundische Wiese is a must-see. It provides information about the habitats of the national park and gives an insight into the life of the crane. Afterwards, follow the dyke eastwards to Pramort with a constant view of pure wilderness with reedbeds, marshes and remnants of forest. Return to Zingst along the Bodden dyke path. From the viewing platforms, you can see the island of Kirr and the town of Barth.
