Fahrradtour entlang der Südlichen Boddenküste

A scenically varied and challenging tour. It goes along the Bodstedt and Barther Bodden, through the Barther Stadtholz, always with the coast in view! The starting point is the traditional harbour of Bodstedt, which attracts visitors with its numerous Zeesboats. This challenging tour along the Bodstedt and Barther Bodden as well as through the Barther Stadtholz is scenically very varied and attractive. As you cycle through the village of Fuhlendorf, you will always have a view of the Bodden and the peninsula. The route heads west along the Bodden coast. Turning right along a paved forest path, you come to the idyllic village of Michaelsdorf and continue westwards to Neuendorf. The small harbour is a great place to rest and linger. The Gothic brick church in Saal with its octagonal wooden bell tower is particularly impressive. The route leads along little-used side roads to Lüdershagen and the brick church, which is home to a high-quality Buchholz organ. The route continues northwards to Barther Stadtholz and then along the Baltic Sea coastal cycle path to the village of Pruchten before returning to the starting point in Bodstedt.
