This beautiful walk by the sea first leads to the pier in Prerow. From there, it follows the beach for almost 2 kilometres. There is a particularly magnificent view of the Western Pomerania Bodden Landscape National Park from the viewing tower on the Hohe Düne, which at 13 metres is the highest point in the area. The way back is via the Seemannskirche church, which was built in the 18th century and is the oldest church on the Darß.
