This hike starts at the Kreuzeck Alpspitzbahn cable car. There are plenty of parking spaces here and it is possible to take the train to the starting point. The quite challenging hike is very steep in parts, but rewards you with marvellous views. The way back from the summit of the Kreuzeck can be done either on foot or with the Kreuzeckbahn cable car.
Before setting off, it is advisable to check the operating times of the Kreuzeck cable car and the opening times of the Kreuzalm (see tips).
