From the starting point in Thierling, the trail leads in the direction of Neuthierling, passing the Kalvarienberg to the south. Together with the Sd1, it comes to Rauchenberg. There it turns left along a well-maintained gravel road towards Thal. Shortly before Thal, there is a marvellous view of the surrounding area. Passing through the village, it reaches a junction at Traubenberg. Keep left here and after about 200 metres turn right again in the direction of Faschaberg to the state road 2146. Via Sandberg, the route continues along the Sd2 over a field path with the Kalvarienberg, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Schorndorf from the benches. The village of Thierlstein, the starting point, is also in sight and soon reached on foot. Here you can end the hike at the Türlinger Gasthaus with its playground and beer garden.
