Panoramic and natural loop in the Thuringian Forest Nature Park. The start is at the Schützenplatz in Tambach-Dietharz. There are car parks here. Heading west towards the end of the town, the trail then leads directly into the Spittergrund nature reserve. Extensive forests and meadows form the area and delight all the senses, and rare plants and animals can be found here. Rest areas invite to linger. The impressive, highest natural waterfall in Thuringia also offers a spectacle - at any time of year. The crystal-clear "Bergsee" Lake is also a wonderful highlight.
