Brevet (2017) of the Audax Club Schleswig-Holstein: To the Bungsberg

Official route of the 2017 cycle marathon. This challenging Audax brevet is an extreme endurance test through Schleswig-Holstein. The route leads through picturesque Holstein Switzerland and culminates at the Bungsberg, the highest elevation in the state at 168 meters. As a brevet, this cycle tour requires strict adherence to time controls and complete self-sufficiency. The greatest challenge lies in covering the enormous distance over the long, often windy roads of the North German Plain, which rewards only the most enduring randonneurs with the view from the summit.
