The route leads through large wet meadows, wide fields and small forests. The small streams that run alongside the path are also beautiful. The difficulty of the route is based solely on its extreme length (probably 200 kilometers or more), which requires immense endurance. The route is non-technical, mostly flat and follows paved roads along the picturesque Elbe River.
