It goes to the island of Sylt, in the beautiful Braderuper Heide nature reserve, located between the Schleswig-Holstein communities of Kampen and Wenningstedt-Braderup. Start is at the parking lot near downtown Westerland. The path leads along the promenade, along the golf course and then into more secluded paths in the nature reserve. From the end of April, in July and from the end of August to the beginning of September, the most diverse types of heather bloom here and bring an incomparable play of colors to this landscape on the North Sea. You can take a break at the copper can and then turn back. The way back is along the Wadden Sea on the east side of the island.
