Versatile hiking route in Saxon Switzerland, Saxony.
This hike leads from Neustadt train station through the beautiful Polenztal along the river of the same name to the Kurort Rathen. The route is largely relaxed along the Polenztalweg. On the way, a detour to the Hockstein viewpoint is worthwhile.
About halfway along the route you pass the Märzenbecher meadow. In March you can admire the largest wild occurrence of the March cup in Saxony.
