A rather unusual route on the Brocken leads from Öhrenfeld to the summit. This route via the Tanntalweg is less well known than the Heinrich-Heine-Weg, which runs a little to the north. The hike also passes the Wolfsberg before reaching the highest peak in the Harz Mountains, the Brocken. On the way you can stop at the forest inn and there is also a rustic restaurant on the summit of the Brocken.
