A strenuous hike with far-reaching views from Neuhausen an der Weinstrasse, Rhineland-Palatinate.
The hike begins and ends at the Meisental hiking car park and follows the Saar-Pfalz-Weg for a while before turning off in the direction of Eckkopf. Anyone who has reached the top can be served there (note opening times). The route also leads along the Kurpfalz Park, which is open from the end of March to November and is always worth a visit. From the Eckkopf it goes back on idyllic forest paths.
Due to its location, this hike is ideal as a day trip from Mannheim or Kaiserslautern.
