Mönchsweg 1 is part of the themed hiking trails "Enigmatic Signs of the Age". At the same time exciting and varied, the route provides insights into the past.
The monks' paths are based on the records of the Jewish Hochspeyer local historian Leopold Seeh (1873-1937). It is named after monks who, since the 12th century, returned from their home monastery to their possessions on this route.
