This almost 17 km loop trail starts at the "Fischbach, Brenzel" bus stop (alternatively: Frankenstein train station). Two castle ruins await you along the way: Diemerstein Castle, which was probably built in the early 13th century, and Frankenstein Castle, which was built in the first half of the 12th century. Since there is quite a lot of uphill and downhill, sturdy shoes are highly recommended.
