The second stage begins in Annweiler am Trifels and ends in Albersweiler. Both towns are well connected to public transport, so travelling to and from them by train is possible. A highlight of the hike is the Neukastel ruins, which can be reached via Leinsweiler and the Slevogthof farm. From here a marvellous panoramic view can be enjoyed.
