Beautiful hiking trail from Annweiler to the Rehberg and to Scharfenberg Castle, Rhineland-Palatinate.
This hiking trail leads to numerous mountains near Annweiler and to Scharfenberg Castle, which, in addition to the far-reaching views from the panoramic mountains, also offers a variety of paths in the idyllic forest areas of the Palatinate Forest.
The tour begins in Annweiler am Trifels. There are parking spaces as well as the possibility to travel by bus. From there it goes in the direction of the forest, first up to Anebos Castle and Scharfenberg Castle. A piece through the valley before going up to the Rehbergturm, from where you have a magnificent view. It goes downhill via the Karl-Rahm path to the Wasgaublick.
