This is the first stage of the popular long-distance hiking trail Mosel-Our-Weg, which leads from Alf on the Mosel to Vianden across the volcanic Eifel.
Right from the start, this hike enchants with fantastic views of the Moselle valley, the surrounding vineyards and two castles. Most of the route leads through the untouched nature of the Kondel Forest. When you arrive in the spa town of Bad Bertrich, you can indulge yourself in the Glauber's salt thermal bath, for example.
