Stage 1 of the long-distance hiking trail "Felsenland Sagenweg", Rhineland-Palatinate.
This is the first stage of the certified premium hiking trail "Felsenland Sagenweg", which leads from Dahn to Bärenbach through the Palatinate Forest.
Already on this section, which connects Dahn and Erfweiler, you can expect a lot of variety; it goes past the Jungfernsprung rock, the alleged scene of a legend about the ominous encounter between a maiden and a fiend, through a picturesque nature reserve and along several interesting castles. There are places to stay overnight and stop for refreshments at the end of the stage.
