Route: Marienplatz - National Park Gate - Güntherweg - Olefbrücke - Zehnthof -Steinweg - Nierfeld - Wackerberg - Eifel View Kreuzberg - Dreiborner Straße -Marienplatz
Follow only the trail no. 12, where the start of the hike in Gemünd, Marienplatz is. On the tour you will first arrive at the National Park Gate and then walk along the outskirts of Gemünd to the Olef Bridge. From here follow the path to Nierfeld and climb the Wackerberg from there. Once at the top, the Wackerberghütte invites you to take a rest (at the "Wackerberg Süd" location). On well-developed trails you then hike steadily downhill back to Gemünd. A small detour (50 m) to the Eifel-view Kreuzberg is definitely recommended.
