The Sintfeld-Höhenweg is a wonderful loop trail in the southern Paderborn region. The third stage of the 150 km long long-distance hiking trail starts at Dalheim Monastery and ends in Herbram. In contrast to the previous stage, here you mainly hike through meadows and fields. About half way along the trail you pass Lichtenau, where two churches and a castle make the hearts of those interested in culture beat faster. In Herbram there are often many hikers - in addition to the Sintfeld high trail, half a dozen other long-distance hiking trails run through the tranquil place.
At the end of the stage there are places to stay overnight as well as restaurants.
