The Sintfeld-Höhenweg is a wonderful loop trail in the southern Paderborn region. This is the second stage of the 150 km long long-distance hiking trail. The route begins near the Wewelsburg, the landmark of the Paderborn region, and ends at Dalheim Monastery. The first half of the almost 26 km long and rather sporty hike runs almost exclusively through the forest. On the last 12 km you hike through open fields and enjoy extensive views.
There is an opportunity to stop for refreshments at the stage destination.
