Beautiful section of the Sauerland forest route near Marsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia.
The 14th stage of the Sauerland Forest Route leads through the historic Obermarsberg with great views from the Buddenturm and an interesting stop at the Draken Cave. From the Rittersprung you also have a fantastic view of the city and the surrounding landscape. We continue along the banks of the Diemel over the Kalvarienberg and through the forests of the region. Wide fields and meadow landscapes alternate with traces of mining and then lead down to the Diemelsee and the dam.
