The seventh stage of the Sauerland high-altitude flight begins in the health resort Altastenberg, the highest place in North Rhine-Westphalia. Natural paths and a nature trail lead to the Kahler Asten, a piece of which runs parallel to the Rothaarsteig. On the Kahler Asten there is a mountain inn, a meteorological station and a natural history exhibition. In Mollseifen there is again the opportunity to strengthen yourself, after which there are no more places to stop as far as Hallenberg. On natural paths it goes along from observation towers to Hallenberg.
