Beautiful loop in the Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve - Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
A beautiful loop through the Lübtheen Heath with its typical, partly wooded and partly open heathland. What was once used as a military training area is now home to many different animals and plants such as sand beetles, fallow pipits and the silver wheel. The walk is particularly recommended in late summer when the heather is in bloom!
You can easily start the hike from the parking lot next to the forest pool or from the bus stop "Probst Jesar". There is a covered seating area for a picnic along the way.
