Stage 2 of the long-distance hiking trail "Wendland Rundweg", Lower Saxony.
This is the second stage of the Wendland loop, which runs for almost 200 km through the Elbhöhen-Wendland nature park. With a length of around 12 km, this section from Wietzetze to Göhrde is also quite relaxed. The hike is particularly beautiful at the time of the lily blossom, when countless field lilies turn the lily path, on which one hikes for quite some time here, into an orange sea of flowers. Once in Göhrde, a short walk through the pretty town is recommended.
