Panoramic coastal hike to Cape Arkona, Rügen
The starting point of this great hike along the north coast of Rügen is the "Drewoldke" campsite.
The nearest bus stop is within walking distance.
The first thing to do is to leave the campsite
along the beach. Shortly before Goor, a path leads from the beach onto paved paths and it continues in the direction of Vitt. Vitt is a quaint old fishing village and a very popular tourist destination. From Vitt the path leads to the northernmost point of the island, Cape Arkona. There you can enjoy the great view from two lighthouses. The way back is promising above the steep coast. If you are lucky you can see seals.
