This beautiful hiking trail follows the WaddenWandelen route on the Wadden Sea island of Borkum.
Two sections of the Dutch regional hiking trail WaddenWandelen run across the German Wadden Sea island of Borkum. The loop trail begins at the historic train station and is suitable as a one- or two-day hike. The route leads through Ostland to the eastern part of the island. Wet dune valleys offer rare natural scenery and a rich variety of birdlife.
