A varied MTB tour in the Taunus Nature Park, Hesse.
A versatile, but with one exception (on the Hohler Stein the route is very steep and type S2, need to push the bike for approx. 300m), easy to ride mountain bike loop.
The way back begins again with a beautiful trail, before a lot of forest (partly educational trail) and a short descent await. At the nature reserve Heftricher Moor there is a very short stretch along the country road towards Hasenmuehle.
The route has some rather short but steep climbs - some level of fitness is required. The route makes little demands on riding technique and is easy to ride on with a hardtail MTB. Sometimes you ride outside of the forest (great views).
