Start in front of the door of the central station in Frankfurt. The tour can be done confidently on foot, although the varied route mostly runs on asphalt roads. If you prefer to travel by bike or inline skating, you can tackle the tour in this way. Next you will go over the Münchener Straße to Willy-Brandt-Platz. Here, meet the Green Belt Ring of Frankfurt. However, take time to admire the imposing skyscrapers of the big banks. Via the lovingly designed Gallus and Taunusanlage, you reach the Alte Frankfurter Oper. Behind it is the Bockenheimer Anlage and Eschersheimer Anlage with a small pond. At the Friedberger Anlage you can visit the Frankfurt Zoo ( as a short detour. Next, you come to the Main and follow the Uferweg to the new skyscraper of the European Central Bank. A few meters further there is a new sports park with skating, basketball and a football field. In addition, several climbing towers with different levels of difficulty. After the newly built car bridge, stroll along the river Main for a short time before walking through the Oberrad district. At the edge of the forest, you can visit the beautifully landscaped Scheerpark forest playground with a small mini-golf course or continue to the wooden Goetheturm. The view from above on the skyline of the Main metropolis is beautiful. At the Goetheturm you can rest and take a little break. Then, you will reach Sachsenhausen and walk over the Ironbridge to the Romans, the marketplace of Frankfurt. If you still feel like it, you can then take a look at the famous Paulskirche. It is only a stone's throw to the main station and thus ends your urban tour in Frankfurt.
