From here it goes past the barge harbour to the observation tower. The route follows the Arche dam over the Arche weir into the Buchenhain nature reserve, where bizarre trees stand. The route continues deep into the Wasserburg Spreewald to the Puhlstrom weir. There is a rest area and a café in Groß Wasserburg.
