Idyllic and natural loop around the Weißer See lake in the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve, Brandenburg.
The route follows forest and field paths into Brandenburg's famous Schorfheide. This quiet, natural tour starts at the bathing and sunbathing lawn near the car park in Böhmerheide. It first heads in a westerly direction to the beautiful boat landing stage. Great views of the deep, clean lake can be enjoyed through the reeds that separate here. The marvellous peace and quiet, interrupted only by birds and gliding boats, always around the path, is like a short spa treatment! Later, on the northern shore, poplars, ash, hazel and elm trees provide plenty of shade. A wooden bridge leads across the tributary to the Kuhpanzsee lake. Swimming is permitted at various points. It is also possible to stop for refreshments at the bathing meadow.
