The route is named after the historical evidence of Prussian royal hunts. Königs Wusterhausen Castle and the forests of Fort Hammer are on the way.
The trail starts at Königs Wusterhausen railway station and ends at Lübben station. This means traveling in comfort by train is possible.
Please note: There are sections of the route where increased car traffic is to be expected. Due to construction work, a lot of car traffic is to be expected between the end of Krummensee and the entrance to Groß Köris and this section should be avoided, especially with children.
