Rundweg Zeesener See

This official hiking trail of the city of Königs Wusterhausen is signposted and marked with a yellow circle. Pure hiking time about 3 hours, several accesses to Lake Zeesen, at least 3 swimming spots, path through settlement areas, again and again very beautiful spots in the forest, on the lakeshore and in the Luch. Several restaurants invite you; interesting detours to the clay ponds are possible. Suitable for hikers of all ages. The path leads from Storkower Straße along the edge of the forest in the direction of Krebssee. The swampy meadows lying in lush greenery and the broad-leaved deciduous trees along the way have a relaxing and refreshing effect on the hiker. One touches the forest nature trail of forestry as well as the 'orchard meadow'. The orchard meadow is a refuge especially for families with children. The hike runs partly through quiet, untouched natural and meadow landscape and partly through well-tended residential and weekend settlements. Here and there the route leads directly along the lakeshore. You reach Zeesen, which was first mentioned in a document in the 15th century. The place went down in film history with its story about the manor castle. Where the Fasanenstraße joins the Dorfaue, you can make a detour to the Zeesener bathing beach. Continue hiking along the Seestraße, which is only separated by undergrowth, runs directly on the shore of the Zeesener See and provides access in some places. If you stay near the shore you will reach the southern tip of the lake in Körbiskrug. The Senziger settlement Waldesruh begins not far. The settlement was founded at the end of the twenties by Berliners weary of the city as a recreation area. The hiker keeps to the left at Gräbendorfer Strasse and thus reaches Chausseestrasse. It's a busy road. Be careful when crossing! After a few meters you enter the zoo. It is a nature reserve on the Stabe and the Krimnicksee and has a specially designated hiking trail. It then goes back to the Königs Wusterhausen train station via the Kirchsteig.
