Innerer Oberspreewald Forstweg - Nordumfluter

Idyllic nature hike in the state of Brandenburg. It goes into the magnificent biosphere reserve Spreewald, where a comprehensive flow system characterizes the landscape, which is unique in Central Europe. Around 70% of the fields and meadows here are farmed according to organic guidelines, in accordance with the UNESCO program "Man biosphere". The start is - within the Wisianka nature development area at the Spreewald harbor in Neu Zauche, where wonderful boat trips for groups can also be booked. It goes in a westerly direction along the Nordumfluter. Later, where Nordfliess and Polenzoa cross, the Nordumfluter is crossed in order to walk north on a normal dirt road past a small grove. This unique landscape with the constantly changing views, sounds and smells seems like being in a fairytale forest, almost always surrounded by water. In a southerly direction it goes back to the starting point.
