Fontaneradweg - Tagestour 1 - Rheinsberg <> Molchow

The round tour leads from Rheinsberg along glittering lakes in the Ruppiner Seenland. The day tour with the green FONTANE.RAD symbol leads first to the Kalksee and then to the Tornowsee, on which the Boltenmühle is located. Theodor Fontane already mentioned the mill, which today houses a café. Binenwalde can also be reached on this section via a detour. This is followed by the Zermützelsee and the village of Stendenitz with its over 100-year-old Waldschänke with beer garden right on the shore of the lake. In the next town, Molchow, Fontane described the wooden bell tower in the middle of the village - he was interested in the story behind it. From here, day tour 1 runs on the main route of the FONTANE.RAD route with yellow license plates via Zippelsförde with its large fish farm back to Rheinsberg. A printed tour guide and a cycling map for the entire FONTANE.RAD route are available free of charge at the local tourist information offices, and information boards provide information about individual Fontane locations. The route can be reached by bus and train.
