Charming hike near Füssen, Bavaria. The hike begins at the parking lot on Pfrontener Straße at the entrance to Oberkirch am Weißensee and leads along the Weißensee to the Alatsee. The section shows partly over narrow paths secured with rows or parapets. From the Alatsee, it goes over wide forest paths to the Saloberalm, with great views of Neuschwanstein Castle and the Zugspitze. Great views of the surrounding landscape await you on the subsequent section through the forest. From the Falkenstein castle ruins, the way back leads steeply down the mountain to the Schloßanger Alpe and from there via Benken and Roßmoos back to the starting point.
