Stage 9 of the "Wasserläufer-Route" long-distance hiking trail, Bavaria.
Together with the Himmelsstürmer route and the Wiesengaenger route, the Wasserläufer route forms the "Allgäu hiking trilogy" long-distance network.
The ninth stage connects Nesselwang and Oy-MIttelberg over a distance of around 14 km. Despite the moderate length of the route, this hike is extremely diverse; you will pass a waterfall, pretty forest and meadow passages, a castle ruin, a well-known mountain peak and a lake. There are restaurants and places to stay overnight. Start and finish can be reached by bus and train.
