Best trails near Grüntensee

This hike leads around the picturesque Grüntensee lake in the Oberallgäu. The Wertach reservoir is known for its crystal-clear water and impressive Alpine panorama. The route starts at the hiking parking lot at the climbing forest. The trail leads around the entire lake on near-natural paths and paved lakeside paths. Do not worry! With a bit of fitness, a wonderful day tour through the Vilstal past cow pastures. After a few kilometers you come to the cozy Alm "Kalbelehof". Continue past the Vilsfall towards Schattwald. After Jungholz there is another possibility to stop by, the "Sorgalpe".
