Stage 7 of the "Wasserläufer-Route" long-distance hiking trail, Bavaria.
Together with the Himmelsstürmer route and the Wiesengaenger route, the Wasserläufer route forms the popular Bavarian long-distance route network "Wanderertrilogie Allgäu".
The starting point of the seventh stage of the Wasserläufer route is Füssen (accessible by bus and train). At 17 km, this section is of moderate distance, but due to the many steep ascents and descents it is generally considered to be demanding. For example, it goes steeply uphill to the Salober Alm. Great views to the Ammer Mountains and some benches always invite you to take a break and enjoy yourself. At Fuessen, the stage destination, there are overnight accomodations and restaurants.
