The tour begins at the Olympia Ski Stadium (parking fee €2.50 per day) and initially leads to the highest church village in Germany. Here one can take a first break in the Wamberg mountain inn (refreshments available). From there it goes across meadows and forests to the Eckbauer, where beautiful views await. You pass the mountain station of the Eckbauerbahn (if you want to take a shortcut, you can take the cable car back down to the valley), as well as the idyllic villages of Vordergraseck and Wildenau. Here the suggested route makes a highly recommended detour to the Partnach Gorge. Good shoes, sure-footedness and rainproof clothing are recommended for the gorge.
