Beautiful gorge ! I never saw anything like this ! Because of corona once you walk through the gorge you can’t turn back !! So you need to walk around the gorge. We hiked up on the left of the exist and then over a metal bridge. It was quite steep and slipery but we enjoyed the views over the gorge. I think there was an easier way back when you continue along the water as on the map here !

A nice, easy, and relatively short hike which can be done at any point in the year - so while in summer I would definitely recommend the Höllentalklamm instead of this one, in winter this is a special place to be with all the ice sculptures (and the Höllental closed).

Starts from parking lot and is mostly road until you reach the gorge. The gorge costs €6 per person to enter.

Beautiful hike. Hiked through the klamm, which is breathtaking, and then followed the signs to the alm. It was a long hike up to the top but we really enjoyed the view from the top and we stopped at the scenic restaurant for a nice lunch. Headed then down towards the eisernebruecke. This took us downhill over some not so well kept paths back to the klamm entrance. Sturdy shoes a must. A perfect hike and fabulous weather to enjoy it with.

Very easy at the beginning, but pretty crowded. We weren’t sure that the hike up the hill would pan out to anything interesting, but it ended up being very cool to see the gorge from the upper level (after walking through the tunnels below).

easy hike to the gorge. The gorge itself is spectacular. the walk after the gorge could have continued to be straightforward but I decided to instead detour via eckbauer...that's when it started to get intermediate/heavy. Switchbacks up the mountain just go on and on and it gets heavy going, but the top is worth it. Decided to walk down the eckbauer instead of taking the cable cart...my knees regretted that decision. overall, really good 10km hike. enjoyed thoroughly. will be back in winter.

Completed this hike twice. First time was in February. The gorge had huge icicles and frozen waterfalls all along the route. Snow covered ground made the last part of the trail a bit challenging. Second time was in September. Very different experience. Still lots of greenery and the water was flowing much quicker. Beautiful setting!
