This fairly challenging route starts at the parking lot in Reichenbach and leads along partly steep trails through the Allgäu Alps up to the Rubihorn, which rises to nearly 2,000 meters. As is always the case with hikes in alpine terrain, sturdy shoes and sure-footedness are essential here, especially near the summit. The ridge trail is secured with steel cables at several particularly challenging sections.
